Algarve Interclub League

The Algarve Interclub League consists of 20 clubs from the length and breadth of the region. Divided into three divisions each club plays the others on a home an away basis. The format is better ball matchplay. The clubs finishing in the top three places in Divisions 2 and  3 will be promoted and be replaced by the clubs finishing int the bottom three places in Divisions 1 and 2 respectively.  . Serra de Monchique GC won the title in 2008 and were runners up in 2011. The club has a great record in the competition and has built a strong reputation within the league.
