Yesterday, Thursday September 20th was Mandy Monks last ladies day before her and David return to the UK to live. Mandy and David have lived here for the last twenty two years and Mandy has been organising Ladies day for quite some time. 

 We have had many good games followed by presentations, drinks and sometimes a nice meal.  Mandy has done a great job organising these events and we will miss her dearly.

Yesterday we had a great traffic light game followed by a presentation of wine (donated by Mandy and David) to the winning teams. The ladies then presented Mandy with farewell gifts of two beautiful books one around Portugal and its history the other a Portuguese traditional recipe book, both signed by the lady members, a lovely pink golf top with the SDM Ladies logo and Mandy’s name embroidered on it and a lovely bouquet of flowers. We did not forget David who helps behind the scenes and presented him with two lovely bottles of wine.

A big thank you was given to Mandy who responded with her thanks and we wish them well in their new venture back in the UK.
