New functionality has been added to SDM site today. Main changes are to enable site remembering users, so members are not asked for their password and username every time and enhancements to competition registration.

 When logging in members can now select "Remember me" option. If selected, website will then store a cookie on your computer that contains your SDM username and password. Both are encrypted and set to expire in couple of months time, so it is safe to use this option. Next time member logging in from the same computer SDM website will check if member has selected "Remember me" option in the past and proceed accordingly. User has option to log out as before.

Registration for event now has been extended as per Phase I of development discussed before website go-live back in May. From now on members can register other members for competitions. And also members can enter as 2, 3 or 4-ball by using "Register Others" option. If multiple members entered as a group SDM website will display lead player in bold and rest of the group underneath with offset. The next phase of competition registration development will allow members to select specific time slot, when registering for competitions.
